Last updated: 17 Jul 2026

This policy explains how the “Antreprenoriat în Țara Dornelor” program collects and processes your personal data when you use this site or apply to the program. We are committed to complying with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).

The data controller and program implementer is Asociația Club Afaceri.ro, sole registration code (CUI) 27269648, with its registered office at Șos. Bârnova no. 29B, Iași, Iași County, Romania. For any question about your data or for data-protection matters, contact us at contact@antreprenoriat-tara-dornelor.com.

We have not appointed a Data Protection Officer (DPO), as our activity does not require one; the contact point for data-protection matters is the address above.

The program is intended for adults (18+). We do not knowingly collect data from minors; if you believe a minor has provided us with data, contact us to have it removed.

What data we collect

We collect the data you provide directly and technical data generated automatically:

  • Application form: first and last name, email, phone, company name, tax ID, locality, website and social media profiles, information about the business activity, products, services and development, financial information where applicable, support needs, optional message, declarations and consents.
  • Attachments uploaded voluntarily in the application form, such as presentations, documents or images relevant to evaluating the application.
  • Contact form: name, company (optional), email and your message.
  • Technical data: essential cookies and, only with your consent, analytics data (see the Cookie Policy).

The fields marked as required in the application form are necessary to evaluate your application; without them we cannot process it. Optional fields can be left blank.

Purpose & legal basis

Within the Entrepreneurship in Țara Dornelor program, we process the data supplied through the form exclusively to assess eligibility, review applications and select program participants.

  • checking applicant eligibility and evaluating and selecting program participants;
  • communicating with applicants during the selection process;
  • organizing and implementing project activities;
  • meeting the contractual, monitoring and reporting obligations of the funded project;
  • Replying to your contact message — basis: our legitimate interest in responding to you (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). You can object to this processing at any time.

Application evaluation and management are based on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Website operation and security are based on the controller's legitimate interest.

Who has access to the data

Data is accessed by the program's implementation team and by providers acting as processors:

  • Convex — hosting the database of applications, messages and attachments.
  • Vercel — website hosting and, only with your consent, usage statistics (Vercel Analytics).
  • The project's four jurors — access strictly for evaluating applications and selecting the 30 participants.
  • Asociația Synerb Venture Catalyzer – Catalizatorul de Inițiative Synerb — insofar as necessary for project implementation, monitoring and reporting.

Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area, based on the safeguards required by the GDPR — standard contractual clauses and, where applicable, the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. We do not sell your data and do not use it for automated decisions with legal effects.

The data is not used for purposes incompatible with those described and is not disclosed to other third parties without a legal basis or, where applicable, the data subject's consent.

How long we keep the data

We keep the data of non-selected applicants for at most 12 months after the selection decision, then delete or anonymize it. Data of selected beneficiaries is kept for the duration of the program and up to 3 years after it ends, for reporting obligations. Contact messages are kept for at most 24 months. These periods may be adjusted according to applicable legal obligations.
